Get a Veteran perspective.

Adecco has helped thousands of veterans make the transition from the service to the workforce. We've met many great veterans and we are proud to introduce you to a few of them.

  • David Arnold

    David Arnold
David Arnold served as a Satellite Communications Operator in Korea. He joined Adecco earlier this year in a culinary production role where he is responsible for producing breakfast and lunch for more than 700 customers every day. David is enjoying his career and has received stellar feedback from his supervisors.
  • Joseph Farrell

Joseph Farrell recently joined Adecco in a warehouse position for a large automotive client. A member of the National Guard, Joseph turned to Adecco to find work in between deployments. He has received rave reviews from our client and his coworkers.
  • Elwood Carter

    Elwood Carter
Elwood Carter is an Army veteran who served in Vietnam. After leaving the service, Elwood worked his way up to become Supervisor of Environmental Services at one of the Northeast's largest regional hospitals, a position he held for 25 years until his retirement in 2005. Elwood soon realized that retirement was not for him and joined Adecco in 2010. He has been so successful in his current role that the client has asked Elwood to train new employees.
  • Meng Khang

Meng Khang is a United States Marine Corps veteran. His military background gave him a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering and those skills translated into a great job with one of our leading clients. The client has been extremely impressed with Meng's professionalism and work ethic.
  • David Kendrick Jr.

    David Kendrick
David Kendrick Jr. served as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and, during his deployment, was shot in both of his legs by a sniper. He still suffers nerve damage caused by the injuries he suffered. However, that has not slowed him down in his career. He continues to utilize his leadership skills and leans on his experience handling difficult situations and interacting with a diverse range of people and personalities.
  • Shawn Lape

Shawn Lape has more than 20 years of experience in the scientific and medical field, having held a variety of positions until 2008 when he was let go by his employer. Through Adecco, Shawn was able to find a great job as a Quality Assurance Specialist at one of the world's leading biomedical companies.

These six veterans are just a few of the thousands who helped find better work and a better life through Adecco. Whether you are a veteran looking to make the shift from the service, or a seasoned professional looking for your next great job, contact us. We are honored to serve heroes like you and we thank you for your service, both for our country and for our organization.

In addition, we would like to recognize one of the many organizations that assist veterans as they reenter civilian life.

Adecco has been teaming up with Veterans Outreach Center, Inc. (VOC) to place high-quality veterans in exciting positions across a variety of industries. Since 2009, we have placed 33 VOC veterans in great positions, including 15 in 2011 alone.

In addition to connecting veterans with great jobs, Adecco has conducted on-site recruiting fairs, job readiness workshops and mock interview sessions to help veterans hone their skills. We also provide continuous feedback to veterans so that they can continue to improve and participate in VOC's annual National Veterans Job Expo.

Because of this success and Adecco USA's unwavering commitment to hiring veterans, this year VOC recognized Adecco USA as their "Employer of the Year."
